HONEY BROOK >> Michael Kyle Denver York was born Oct. 5 premature in Colorado and came home to Honey Brook Oct. 21 with his mother Tabitha.

His father, Pastor Matthew York, flew out Oct. 10-14 and helped with arrangements with Southwest Airlines, paying $500 to get a Transportation Security Administration adapter for the oxygen which enabled the baby to fly home with oxygen

The Airlines allowed the mother to board first, while the stewardesses held baby Michael. They took wonderful care of them and Tabitha was even allowed to meet the pilot in the cockpit.

The York family would like to thank the Aurora, Colorado Ronald McDonald House for their absolute over the top accommodations.

“It is beautiful and impressive. The facility is remarkable that it is run by all volunteers. As a pastor, I had the opportunity to meet many families there with sick children and had an opportunity to have other families join in prayer while praying with a family before their child’s surgery,” said Pastor York. “God has a plan, everything is not always puppies and rainbows, but God is good and he works things out. We now have made life long friends in Colorado.”
