The Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology John Shrader Chapter 21 will hold its Chapter Meeting April 5, at 7 p.m. in the Mule Stable at Joanna Furnace located just off Route 10, about 3 miles north of Morgantown turn right onto Furnace Road proceed about quarter mile to the entrance on the right.

Members, non-members, and students are welcome to attend Dr. Jay Custer exciting presentation “Triangles, Tribes, and Poisons: A Look at Late Woodland Triangular Projectile Points from Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.”

Dr. Jay Custer is a widely-respected authority on Native American archaeology in the Middle Atlantic states, professor of anthropology, and Director of the University of Delaware Center for Archaeological Research, also author of several classic books on “Prehistoric Cultures of Eastern Pennsylvania.”
