On May 6, Pequea Presbyterian Church will host a free ladies event from 9 a.m. to noon. This event is open to women and teen girls ages 12 and up and will focus on identity and who we are in Christ.
“In today’s society girls and women are struggling to find themselves; using the world around them to try and define who they truly are,” says Kim Mowery. “We want to reach as many teen girls and women that we can, even women who are retired!”
This mini-conference is called “Bigger Than the Beatles, Who Does God Say I Am?” The Beatles, Pequea style will make a few appearances and there will be a time of worship, teaching, a personal testimony and prayer. At the conclusion of the event Pequea will be providing lunch, also free.
Childcare will not be available so arrangements for children need to be made prior to the conference. Registration is not required but highly recommended for seating and lunch. Please visit www.pequeapc.com for more information or to register for the event. You can also call the church office at 717-768-3324.
