Jill Birckbichler of Blandon was honored at the Girl Scouts of Eastern PA’s Adult Awards Celebration on May 2.
Her fellow volunteers nominated and endorser her application for the GSEP Super Service Unit Award. The award recognizes a longtime volunteer who has devoted time, skills, and leadership to her service unit for over five years.
Jill has been involved for 13 years as an adult for her local Girl Scouts. Her combined years of Girl Scouting as a Girl member and an adult member is over 22 years. Jill has served in the capacity of Assistant Leader, Troop Leader, Girl Placement Organizer, Service Unit Camp Committee, Service Unit Event planner, and Mentor.
Her service and dedication is sincerely appreciated by the girls and adults in the Fleetwood Girl Scout Service Unit serving all girls in the Fleetwood Area School District.
