Conestoga Christian School students excel at regional technology conference

On Saturday, Feb. 10, Conestoga Christian School sent many middle and high school students to the regional competition of the Technology Student Association. Students from 7 middle schools and 13 high schools (385 students, 115 advisors and judges; 500 total) attended the Region 2 TSA Conference. Region 2 includes schools from Berks, Lancaster, and Lebanon Counties.

CCS middle school students received first place in the categories of Flight (Brynn Carter), Structural Engineering (Gavin Green and Riley Lorah), and Technical Design (Brynn Carter and Riley Lorah). Stephen Elliker, Tanner Martin, and Adrian King also placed in various categories.

Placing first in high school were Joy Metzler and Jaiden Starr for Fashion Design and Technology; Jaeden Schreier for Flight Endurance; Jaeden Schreier and Spencer Colon for Video Game Design; and Dawson Carter, Caleb Schreier, and Ethan Vannoy for Electronic Research & Experimentation. Also placing in the high school competition were Jack Anderson, Christian Colon, Carissa Earnest, Alex Italiano, Zachary Johnson, Evan McFarland, Emily Wenger, and Aaron Wright. TSA teacher and mentor, Mr. Larry Everhart says that, “the credit and thanks go to God who helped us think clearly and guided our hands.”
