When the activity director of Harvest View at Zerbe Retirement Community Becky Stief read an article asking for donations of “pillow case” dresses for mudslide ridden Sierra Leone, she knew our residents would be up to the challenge! This was a great opportunity for these wonderful ladies to help out girls half way around the world, some of which have to wear the same dress every day. Project participants included Fran Trego, Becky Stief, Mary Jane Schlouch, Helen “Clair “Brown, Teresa Grundman, Velma Weaver, Alverta Myers and Fern Leinbach. The retirement community is located in Narvon.
