Enjoy an evening relaxing outdoors with music, wine and good company. Evening on the Green will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, at Daniel Boone Homestead, 400 Daniel Boone Road, Birdsboro. Hogan’s Heroes, a local band playing classic rock and blues, will entertain visitors. Adello Winery of Perkiomenville will be hosting a wine tasting as well as having bottles of wine for sale. Local crafters will be set up along the path and food concessions will be available. Peruse the craft vendors selling baskets, pottery, textiles, and rugs. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets for a tranquil evening at the Daniel Boone Homestead.
Admission is $7 per adult; 16 and under are free. The Friends of the Daniel Boone Homestead is a 501 (c) 3 organization operating the state owned site where Daniel Boone was born in 1734. All funds raised support educational programs at the Homestead.
