The 2nd annual Mountain Springs Country Fair is June 14 – 16 in Shartlesville and is having some great entertainment this year. The “Wolves of the World” show will be appearing all three days with three shows per day.

The show is one of the last touring live wolf shows in the US today. Many people have never seen a live wolf and it is educational. The show comes here from Trinity, S.C. and is operated by Trinity Heritage Farms.

Also there is the Jeff Krick Jr. show as an Elvis impersonator on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. with two shows. Jeff is from the area and has a great following at his young age. He has performed in many local venues.

Friday evening are the Lawn Mower Tractor Races promoted by ARMA, also the music side that evening has the band Night Flyte performing.

Saturday evening the big fair demo derby takes place with a farm combine derby along with a car demo also of three classes, along with our line dancing session with DJ Nugget.

Thursday and Friday night entertainment is all free with admission to the fair charged. Saturday admission charged with free rides all day included as is line dancing. Admission charged to the demo which is additional to fair admission. The baking contests open to anyone has three nights of competition with the Strawberry and Shoofly contest on Thursday at 4 p.m., Angel Food Cake and Apple Pie contest Friday at 4 p.m., Saturday has he PA preferred and Chocolate Cake contest. The fair will have rides, contests, food, exhibits, plus the many livestock entries, etc There is plenty of free parking, and is located north of Route 78 just off the Shartlesville exit on Mountain Road. There is a coupon on the website for a $2 discount on ride bracelet for Thursday night.
