The Twin Valley High School Indoor Guard is a new program started in November 2017 when 11th grader, Amber Boyer, strove to have a competitive Indoor Guard at Twin Valley. Denetra Bauer, the coach of the Twin Valley Middle School Color Guard, received an email from Amber asking if she would like to have the honor of coaching for the Indoor Guard. Denetra gladly accepted and the program started within weeks. Students Kendra Newman, Amber Boyer, Hailee Gould and Emma Brennan have worked hard and personally paid out all expenses to get this group going. They competed in numerous competitions over the past six months, placing first in all of them. The highlight of the season came on May 26 when the Twin Valley High School Indoor Guard won the 2018 TU Regional Championship title in the Senior Color Guard division in York, Pa.
