GIANT donates to Kutztown community

Kutztown GIANT representatives presented $5,000 in donations to local organizations Feb. 26 during a preview event. The new grocery store located on Kutztown Road in Maxatawny opens officially to the public on Feb. 27.

Donations of $1,000 each were presented to Camp Cadet Troop L, Friend Inc. Community Services, Kutztown Area School District, Kutztown Fire Company and Kutztown University.

“Our goal is to be a good neighbor, be an asset to the community, be a good partner with the community,” said Kutztown GIANT store manager Steve Bowlby.
