The State Theatre of Boyertown to roast Kevin Zimmers

This past November, community members filled The Historic State Theatre of Boyertown to watch Kevin Zimmers and his antique collection on the History Channel’s American Pickers.

Next week, on Monday, April 1, at 7 p.m., this local celebrity will make his way into the spotlight again to be featured in the theatre’s first Boyertown Celebrity Comedy Roast.

Zimmers is a resident of Boyertown and a prominent business owner, community leader and volunteer. He is also a known antique collector, with a total of 12 trailers in addition to his storefront collection full of local and historical items. He began picking with his grandfather when he was 10-years-old.

The State Theatre is proud to bring this event to the Boyertown Community as a way to support a local Relay for Life team known as, “For the Love of Donna”. This is a cancer fund started in loving memory of Donna Muthersbaugh.

Proceeds from the ticket sales for this comedy roast will be shared with the “For the Love of Donna” cancer fund and the State Theatre.

The Historic State Theatre of Boyertown continues its efforts to raise funds to support the revitalization project and keep the doors to the historic landmark open in the Boyertown Community.

The staff looks forward to welcoming the community to this comedy roast.

Tickets can be purchased from The Historic State Theatre of Boyertown. Box office hours are daily 4 pm till 8 pm
