Tammi Hallman, new agent with Zuber Realty’s Pottstown office, keeps her plate full of activities and projects involving homes and caring for families. Hallman has memories of “getting all dressed up” on Sundays and visiting realtors’ Open Houses—studying each owner’s decorating style and the structure of the home along with assessing the tastes and personalities of the owners.
This weekend hobby took a professional turn when she earned her realtor’s license in 2010. Soon after, she began a journey to achieve a personal goal--a college degree in psychology, which also serves as a model of the value of educational achievement for her three children and a source of pride for her parents. “How could I tell my kids they needed a college degree when I didn’t have one myself,” she explained. “Besides, I love school.”
A Class of 1995 graduate of Boyertown High School, Hallman is happy to be back in the real estate business after a brief break during the downturn of the real estate market, happy to be living in the area close to relatives and friends, happy to be part of Zuber Realty--an organization she describes as warm, friendly, and helpful.
From the days as a volunteer with Special Olympics and her employment in the health care field as a medical secretary, Hallman looks forward to actualizing her caring nature through involvement with Helping Hands assisting folks less fortunate than she, participating in community activities, and perhaps joining the Boyertown Alumni Band to re-connect with friends she made as a twirler with the high school Band Front.
Hallman’s love of learning, her love of homes, and her nurturing spirit culminate in her current position helping people locate the home of their dreams.
