Strausstown Cub Scout Pack 144 have a busy summer

Submitted photo Strausstown Cub Scout Pack 144 at a recent event this summer.

The Cub Scouts held a kids carnival with games and face painting, the Sherriff’s K9 Dept. came out and did a presentation along with Debbie Greusel from the Pennsylvania Canine Search and Rescue and Blue Mountain Wildlife came out and had a information display set up for the kids. Strausstown Fire company also had a game and information center set up for the kids. The community loved it and we will be doing it again next June during the Strausstown Community Yard Sale day.

Our next project is August 3, Strausstown Cub Scout Pack 144 is having a car wash at the Strausstown Fire Company from 10-1. There will also be a Schwan’s truck there selling freezer items. The Strausstown Fire Company will also be selling Kauffman’s Chicken dinners, half chicken and baked potato for a cost. Money from the car wash will go to the boys to help pay for upcoming fall and winter activities!
