Our Hamburg Church would like to give you an invitation:
We are a Bible based Church located at 22 Willow Rd, Hamburg.
Our Service times are: Bible classes for all ages at 10 a.m. followed by our worship hour at 11 a.m. A vegetarian fellowship meal is served to our guests and visitors each Sabbath after the service. Everyone is welcome.
SABBATH MORNING (Saturday): Sept. 28 at 11 a.m. Elder Ray Hartwell, President of the PA Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, will minister to us during the Worship Hour, followed by our Vegetarian Fellowship Meal in the Fireside Room.
The First Sabbath of each month there is a Children’s Church service for ages 3-10. Also that day, the “Discovery Club” meets in the Fireside Room from 3:30-5 p.m. starting Sept. 7.
Our Community Service Center is open to the public every Monday & Tuesday from 1-6 p.m. for those who qualify. The Food Pantry is open the third Sunday of each month from 12-2 p.m. for those who qualify.
PRAYER MEETING: Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
WEDNESDAY MORNING: 9:30 a.m. Early Morning Bible Study.
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS: The Adventurer & Pathfinder Clubs meet. The Adventurers are for our young members 5-8 years old. They meet at our church facility from 6-7:30 p.m. The Pathfinders are for ages 9-18 and they meet at the Blue Mt. SDA Elementary School from 6:30-8 p.m.

Salem Belleman’s Church
On Sunday, Sept. 22, Salem Belleman’s Church, 3540 Belleman’s Church Road, Mohrsville, celebrated the Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost at the regular worship times of 7:45 and 10:15 a.m. The musician for the early service was Michele Dietrich while Nancy Rubright played for the second service. The scripture readings for the services were Amos 8:4-7 and 1 Timothy 2:1-7 which were read by Dennis Gehman at the early service and by Dottie Cowan at the late service. Also, the Gospel reading was from Luke 16:1-13.
On Saturday, Sept. 28 will be our annual Pennsylvania German Worship in our Historic Old Church and our Turkey and Waffle Supper in the adjacent Fellowship Hall. The PA German Worship begins at 2:30 p.m. and the Supper runs from 4 until 7 p.m. All are welcome!

Salem United Methodist Church, Shoemakersville
Join us at the corner of Sixth and Main Streets for 9 a.m. worship. The scripture for the morning is Luke 16:19-31 which will be read by Robert Kershner.
Following refreshments in Fellowship Hall there will be Bible Study classes for all ages. Pastor Bill’s book study will begin this Sunday. His class is studying “You Can’t Walk on Water If You Don’t Get Our of the Boat.” The will meet in the parsonage on Sundays and on Tuesday evenings. Everyone is invited to join either class.
The first small youth class will meet on Sunday evening at 5 p.m. for Fun, Food, Fellowship and Faith. Let Pastor Bill know if you would like to attend.
Oct. 27 is our Anniversary Sunday this year. The Rev. Charles Evans will be our speaker and we will be dedicating the four major renovation projects. Former members and friends are especially invited to come and see all the improvements.
We still need 13 boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Packing items that are needed are small toys, wrapped candies, boy’s underwear sizes 4-14 and socks for boys and girls. We will be packing and blessing the boxes in early November.

NORTHERN BERKS MINISTERIUM
PORK BBQ FUNDRAISER: The churches of the Northern Berks Ministerium partner with the Salvation Army Hamburg Services Center to provide local emergency assistance, such as, food, shelter, heating and utilities. The Salvation Army provides $30,000 annually for assistance needs; the Ministerium provided an additional $4,000 in assistance in the past year.
To aid in this fund, the Ministerium is sponsoring a take-out Pork BBQ Dinner on Sunday, Oct. 20, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Dinners include pulled BBQ pork, baked potato, roll, applesauce, butter and drink for a cost. Pick-up of dinners will be at the Salvation Army, 700 S. 4th Street (next to Dollar General). Tickets are available through participating churches through Sunday, Oct. 13.

Divorce Care: A support program for individuals who are dealing with a recent divorce. There is a cost. (This class welcomes walk-ins at any time during the 12-week course)
This Fall on Monday Evenings at 7 p.m., TBC welcomes a new ministry called Celebrate Recovery. Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step Recovery program where people gain freedom, healing, and accountability for life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. By applying the 8 Recovery Principles within the 12-step program, we open ourselves up to God’s grace so that we can break free. We also open the door to recovery by sharing our experiences and hopes with one another.
Celebrate Recovery is open to men and women ages 18+. It’s not just for people struggling with substance abuse. This program is for anyone who feels like their life is out of control and is looking for a safe place to deal with a “hurt, habit, or hang-up.” Walk-ins welcome anytime! Momentum Youth Back to School Bash
On Wednesday, Sept. 25, join our youth as they kick off their school year with their annual Back to School Bash at TBC. What better way to start off the school year by smashing a car…legally! Join us as we break out the sledgehammers and let the carnage begin. Each person will have a turn at the bashing! The night will also feature free food and give-a-ways. Open to all students in 7th-12th grades.
Friends & Family Day
Join us for Friends and Family Day on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9 a.m. or 11 a.m. Evangelist Greg & Robyn Hubbard will be ministering during both services. If you have never been to The Bridge Church, we would love to have you a part of this service, where we can share with you our ministries, introduce you to our Iron Gate Café, while enjoying homemade cookies and a photobooth to take your friends and families picture!

On Sept. 29 thru Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. nightly, TBC will be having a time of Revival Services with Evangelist Greg and Robyn Hubbard. Since 1986, Greg & Robyn have been ministering on the evangelistic field both here in the States and overseas. Along with their ministry in church revivals, family camps and conventions across the country, they also minister annually in several countries throughout the world. With infectious enthusiasm, Greg communicates the Word of God with relevance and conviction. Through Robyn’s anointed singing, people from around the world have been refreshed and encouraged.

Harper Regan Strausser, daughter of Jordan Strausser, born on January 21, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, was baptized after worship by Pastor Uhler.
