Joy knew that one of her residents, Mary Troop, a retired nurse, was diagnosed with breast cancer and was undergoing both radiation and chemotherapy. Joy noticed that Mary was becoming depressed and that her hair was beginning to fall out.

<![CDATA[Honey Brook Borough gets Fall rolling with bocce tournament]]> On Saturday, Sept. 26, the colors of the season were the red and green bocce balls rolling on the courts of the Honey Brook Borough. Seven hours of competition saw highly competitive games. About 30 people gathered in the park for a day of fun, laughter, fellowship and bocce.

<![CDATA[New Holland Police: Man arrested after attempted burglary]]> On Sept. 21 at approximately 7:45 p.m., New Holland Police responded to a burglary in progress at the 500 block of East Jackson Street in the New Holland Borough.

Upon arrival, police encountered Thomas Kostingo laying against the side of a residence. Several used syringes were found in Kostingo's possession at this time.
