<![CDATA[Twin Valley swimmers break records]]> The Twin Valley girls U14 swim relay broke the Brandywine Swim League Medley relay record on July 19 and they broke the Freestyle relay record on July 26, both records were from 1994. The girls also broke the Twin Valley swim team relay record in both the Freestyle relay(1998) by 8 seconds and the Medley relay (2007) by 17 seconds.

Just Friends is a local group that plays old time country and gospel music. The members of Just Friends are Lee and Vera Kochel, Marlin Hartranft, Kevin Sensenig, Raymond Weidman and Theresa King.

<![CDATA[G-STEM Program introduces teens to the world of environmental science]]> For participating Pottstown Middle School students, Montgomery County Community College's G-STEM- Green Science, Technology, Engineering and Math-program was the first opportunity they ever had to explore the Schuylkill River, hold crayfish or see schools of minnows swim by their legs.

By testing the water quality at various locations along the river, as well as in the Manatawny Creek tributary, students learned about what may impact the life cycle and inhabitants of this river aquarium.

<![CDATA[Boyertown Bear Paws eliminated from state regional tournament]]> The Boyertown Bear-Paws completed a successful season last week when they were eliminated from the state regional tournament. The Bear-Paws were 3-2 in the tournament and finished the season with an overall record of 30-6.

The Bear Paws won the first game of the tournament on July 22, 6-0 over Lehigh.

<![CDATA[1 pulled from burning truck after four-car crash near Kutztown]]> RICHMOND TWP. - A Mohnton man was pulled from his burning pickup truck by a passing motorist after a four-car crash on Route 222 around 1:30 p.m. Monday, police said.

According to a press release from Fleetwood Borough Police, the accident occurred as southbound traffic was slowing due to congestion Their six original murals include the ones they've created for the Minerva D. Braemer Medical Arts Building at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, Norriton Fire Engine Company 61 and Meadowood Senior Living community.

When you are out picking, how do you know whether a clock is good or not? First of all, is it running? If not, ask the proprietor if the clock will run.
