Seventy degrees and sunshine welcomed hundreds of families to the Berks County Parks & Recreation's Eggstravaganza event at the bucolic and historic property of the county's Heritage Center. For three hours on Saturday, families enjoyed free children's activities and entertainment that were as much a celebration as spring's arrival as the upcoming Easter holiday.

More than fifty Boyertown high school students participated in the BMBA Shadowing Day on Wednesday, April 2.

FX's enjoyable "Fargo," written and executive-produced by Noah Hawley, is both an homage to and an extended riff on the beloved 1996 film by Joel and Ethan Coen.

The good news about this 10-episode series is that it's not a complete rip-off, but its deep familiarity with the film's tone and dark humor leaves it wide open to moments of redundancy.

The meeting, which will be held at the Oley Fair Centre on Jefferson Street, is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will be facilitated by the Oley Township supervisors and members of the Delaware County Solid Waste Authority, owners of the landfill.

St. Louis came to Hamburg this past weekend as the Hamburg Area School District Drama Hawks presented the musical "Meet Me In St. Louis" to a full auditorium on April 11, 12 and 13.

Students showed off not only their acting, but also musical and dance talents as they danced and sang on stage.

Life's Choices is coming up on two years in Hamburg and is ready for some changes. The faith-based pregnancy and resource center started STI testing once a month, financial counseling which started this month and has a new location.

Since the center opened an office in Hamburg, the other office in Kutztown, it has been located in the back of Second Hand Boutique on State Street with the entrance being in Apple Alley.
