The Boyertown Area YMCA 2nd Annual Yip & Dip Doggie Swim held on Sunday, September 9 from 1 ñ 4 pm at the Boyertown Community Pool, 417 S. Madison St., Boyertown. 198 dogs and twice as many people attended the perfect weather event. The entire pool and splash pad was open for dogs and their owners. An off-leash area complete with agility course, toenail trims, pet safety and contests were held throughout the day. Proceeds from the days event will be used for repairs and improvements to the pool. -
