DURYEA DAY

The 47th Annual car show will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m at the Boyertown Community Park. Museum’s Choice Awards will be given for: Pre-War Antique Car, Post-War Antique, Car, Antique Truck, Antique Modified, Antique Motorcycle and Antique Sports Car. A flea market, two live bands and food available. Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles will have free admission to Pennsylvania’s transportation history museum.

SPORTSMAN’S EXPO

To be hosted by Pa Representative David Maloney from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Oley Valley Community Fairgrouds, 26 Jefferson Street. Blackpowder Demo by the Pennsylvania 1st Regiment, campers and RV equipment on display, archery and bowhunting demonstrations, BB gun target shooting, lectures, vendors, and door prizes will take place at the event. Stephanie Grace will perform starting at 6 p.m.

LIONS CLUB

The Boyertown Lions Club will hold their weekly meeting Thursday at the Keystone Fire Co., N. Walnut Street, Boyertown at 6:30 pm. The meeting will be the Boyertown Lions Community Ambulance Report. FIRST FRIDAY AT THE HARD BEAN

BOYERTOWN OKTOBERFEST

This is a celebration of German heritage and a day for the community to come together. The event is held on the inner core parking lot in the center of Boyertown. The day includes German music, German entertainment, beer and wine tent, food a nd crafters. The event opens with the crafters at 11:00 a.mm and followed by the tapping of the first keg by our Mayor at noon. The music and entertainment are enjoyed throughout the day and evening with the closing of the event at 9:00 pm.

Chestnut Knoll will be celebrating it’s 12th anniversary from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be outdoor entertainment, a flea market/craft sale, as well as a dessert contest.

BOOK SIGNING

Judge Sprecher, author of Justice or Just This? will discuss his book and the compelling case for eliminating mandatory minimum sentencing in Pa. The discussion and book signing will be at 1 p.m. at the Center at Spring Street. The event is free and open to the public.

THE CRIMINAL RECORD EXPUNGEMENT PROJECT
