Minneapolis, MN — Stephanie M. Good, a Walden University Master of Science in Management student from New Holland, PA, was selected to travel to New York City to attend the 2012 World Business Forum on Oct. 2 and 3.

Good was one of 11 doctoral and master’s students from Walden’s College of Management and Technology chosen to attend the event, where she heard global leaders in government, business and media discuss ideas and trends affecting the future of our global economy. Walden was a sponsor of the 2012 World Business Forum and the university’s president, Dr. Cynthia G. Baum, introduced one of the renowned speakers, author and researcher Marcus Buckingham, during the event on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Radio City Music Hall.

“I was thrilled to be selected to attend the Forum and listen to these experienced leaders,” states Good. “Several of the speakers talked about the importance of leadership development that is more personalized and plays to an individual’s strengths in order to create functional teams. The people within an organization are truly the greatest asset!”
