During the first-ever rating of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, the American Conservative Union presented state Senator David G. Argall (R-Schuylkill) with the ‘Defender of Liberty’ award for 2012.
Citing Argall’s votes on tax reform, rooting out wasteful government spending and improving the regulatory climate, the ACU said the 100 percent perfect score reflects his consistent support of conservative principles on a wide range of issues during the 2012 legislative session.
The American Conservative Union is America’s oldest and largest grassroots conservative organization. Founded in 1964, ACU represents the views of Americans who are concerned with economic growth through lower taxes and reduced government spending and the issues of liberty, personal responsibility, traditional values, and national security.
