Fleetwood Borough “faired pretty well” after Hurricane Sandy struck the area on Monday, said Chris Young, Fleetwood Borough Council.

“No major widespread damage,” said Young on Tuesday.

“We are aware of a few residences with damage to the roof or siding damaged, plus there are several trees down on private property and two trees in the Fleetwood Park that were blown over that caused some damage to pavilion #1 in the park,” said Young.
