Carli Moore, senior at Twin Valley High School, has been named October’s School to Career Student of the Month. Carli interns with Mrs. Burger’s 4th grade class at Twin Valley Elementary Center where her goals are to plan and execute a lesson independently and to learn more about positive discipline and differentiated instruction strategies.
Carli contributes to the overall atmosphere of the class and develops good student relationships. Her mentor, Mrs. Burger, is thrilled to have her in the classroom and enjoys working with Carli.
Mrs. Burger recently said, “I am extremely lucky to have her in my classroom. Carli is making a difference in my students’ lives! She always goes the extra mile. She will be an outstanding educator! She was born to be a teacher.”
Carli is extremely enthusiastic and professional as she works one-on-one with students. Her passion for kids and being in the classroom is transparent She spends more than her required amount of time at her internship and enjoys every minute of it!
Moore has a strong work ethic and also juggles a part-time job while attending school. She has plans to continue her education at West Chester University in pursuit of a career in elementary education. This real life experience will continue to help her identify different teaching strategies for students and to understand the daily responsibilities as an educator. She recognizes that all children require a different way of learning.
Congratulations, Carli Moore, for being October’s School to Career Student of the Month!
