Emerich and Nguyen joined in marriage

Chad Calvin Emerich and Giang Huong Nguyen, both of Philadelphia, were united in holy matrimony on July 21 at Stokesay Castle in Reading.

Nguyen, the daughter of Khoi Nguyen and Huong Tran, of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, was given in marriage by her father. She is a 1996 graduate of Le Hong Phong No. 5 High School in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, and a 2005 graduate of the university of Hawaii. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012 and works as a consultant in Philadelphia.

Emerich is the son of Barry and Yvonne Emerich, of Mohrsville. He is a 1996 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and graduated from Susquehanna University in 2000. He earned his MBA from Drexel University in 2008 and works as a financial advisor at UBS Financial Services in Philadelphia.

Serving in the wedding for the bride were: sister Giang Ngan Nguyen, maid of honor; bridesmaids Martina Nguyen, Lan Nguyen, Hanh Bui, Tuyet Anh Tran; and flower girls Alivia Wallis and Ella Keating.

Serving in the wedding for the groom were: friend Michael Schaeffer, best man; ushers Luke Eddinger, Brad Mikolajczyk, Tom Bozman, Craig Wallis; and ring bearer Kayne Glass.

The reception was held at Stokesay Castle and the couple went to China, Bali and Borneo on their wedding trip.
