The Twin Valley Elementary Center PIE (Partners in Education) is collecting books for their upcoming Used Book Sale. This year’s book sale will be held on Friday, January 25 2013 from 5:00 p.m-8:00p.m., and on Saturday, January 26 from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. in the Twin Valley Elementary Center gymnasium.
The Used Book Sale is a School fundraiser that is sponsored by TVEC Partners in Education (PIE). PIE is the school’s volunteer parent-teacher organization. The monies raised by the book sale will help to fund school assemblies, field trips, after-school clubs and various student events.
The items that PIE is collecting for the sale include: hard cover and paperback books (both adult and children’s book), used or new DVD’s, CD’s and audio books.
Collections will start on Monday, Dec. 10th and end on Friday January 18th, 2013. Book donation for the sale will be collected at three community locations: Twin Valley Fitness Center, 51 South Pine Street; National Penn Bank, 3697 Main Street at Morgan Way; and Aroma’s Coffee shop on Twin Valley Road. There will be a collection bin at each of these locations and your donations are greatly appreciated.
In addition, there will two ‘drop-off nights’ for the community at the Twin Valley Elementary Center. Please feel free to drop off your books on Tuesday, January 15th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Thursday, January 17th from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at the TVEC LGI room (park in lower lot located above the TV Fire department). This is a great option if you have A LOT to donate.
