The Tri-Valley (TRVY) swim team started out strong for the 2012/2013 winter swim season. Currently, the girls team is 3-0 and the boys’team is 1-1 in the Madison Division of the YMCA PennDel Swim League.

The team is coached by Head Coach Robert Heebner, while Stephanie Unger, Elissa Rautzhan and Rachel Stump are the assistant coaches. TRVY boys’ and girls’teams visited Nazareth YMCA on Nov. 17 and had their first home swim meet at Kutztown University on Dec. 1 against North Penn YMCA. The girls team also traveled to the Boyertown YMCA on Dec. 8. The girl’ team beat each opponent, while the boys’team beat Nazareth, but lost to North Penn.

The following swimmers (Katherine Bessey, Greta Feiertag, Kylee Iswalt, Jorden Kline, Peyton Rautzhan, Mason Iswalt, Luke Rautzhan, Makenzie Barrell, Celina Estrada, Michaela Hersh, Mya Keim, Nikolette Nolte, Lauren Tanis, Shawn Bessey, Drew Waters, Nate Wolfe, Justin Kachel and Rachel Stump) have already qualified for the 2013 YMCA Pennsylvania Eastern District Swimming Championships at LaSalle University in March 2013.
