The Daniel Boone High boys’ basketball team finished in fourth place at the Downingtown East Tournament held Dec. 26 and 27. The Blazers are 4-5 overall this season.

The Blazers began the tournament by taking on host Downingtown East. Thanks in part to a big fourth quarter, Downingtown East defeated Daniel Boone, 61-58.

The two teams played to a 26-26 tied after one quarter, before the Blazers outscored their hosts in the third quarter, 23-18. But Downingtown would not be denied as they pulled off the fourth quarter comeback, outscoring the locals, 17-9.
