Two of Kutztown FFA’s members traveled to the Pennsylvania Farm Show on Jan. 12 to accept a check for $600 and a ribbon for their participation in this year’s Agriculture Career Connection Contest, which was sponsored by Lancaster Farming.

Chapter President Kayla Fusselman and Chapter Vice President Lindsay Schroeder worked together to create a video and scrapbook page depicting the possible path for a student in the horticulture field: attending Longwood Garden’s Professional Gardener Program and then continuing on to the University of Delaware.

Besides Kutztown, 11 other chapters participated in this contest from all across Pennsylvania. This is the second year the chapter is participating.
