Honey Brook Twp, PA—The Tel Hai Retirement Community invites the public to enjoy the 17th Annual High School Student Art Show in the campus Auditorium/Chapel on Friday, February 22 and Saturday 23, 2013 between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.

Tammy Jacobs, Tel Hai’s Adult Day Services Director and the Event Coordinator, has invited local high schools, including the Conestoga Christian School, as well as the Coatesville, Downingtown, Pequea Valley, and Twin Valley School Districts to participate. Tel Hai will display a variety of projects completed by high school student artists as selected by their instructors during this two-day exhibit on Tel Hai’s campus.

Guests will be encouraged to vote for the art works they consider their favorite in a variety of media. Awards for “The People’s Choice” will be presented to the top vote-getters after the close of the exhibit. Last year, winners included Katie Sautter (TVHS), Savannah Appel (PVHS) and Kimberly Algarme (CASH.) A new feature of this year’s exhibit will be preliminary judging by a panel of juried artists on Friday who will offer their selection for Best in Show.

The event is free and open to the general public. Directions to the campus located three miles east of Route 10 off Beaver Dam Road are available online at www.telhai.org or by entering the physical address, 1200 Tel Hai Circle when using your GPS.
