Now you can find out everything you always wanted to know about Extension and discover all the great things they can do for you from gardening and agriculture to 4-H for youth and preparing for a career.The Penn State Extension Program in Chester County will be holding an Open House at the Chester County 4-H Center, 1841 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, on Saturday April 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is open to the community to learn about the various programs offered by Penn State Extension. There will be staff displays up throughout the day and mini presentations on certain Extension programs. At 10:30 a.m. there will be a program “Growing Great Gardeners: Penn State Master Gardener Program.” At 11:15 a.m. there will be a presentation on the 4-H Youth Development Program. At 12:00 p.m., “Life Practicum: preparing for Work and Career.” At 12:30 p.m. there will be a presentation from our Agriculture Educator.
