A Kutztown University student was assaulted on campus March 13, a third assault incident in about a week.

“Last night we learned of the third assault on our campus in the past week,” wrote KU President F. Javier Cevallos in a email message sent to students this morning. “I am very concerned about the safety of our university and can understand the worry these recent incidents has caused all of us.”

On March 8, armed, masked men forced their way into a Deatrick Hall dorm room, searched the room, struck one of the occupants and left without taking anything.
