Senior Citizens Club of Hamburg. The Hamburg Seniors meet at 2 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesday of each month in the Hamburg Area Middle School cafeteria. If school is canceled on the meeting day because of bad weather, the meeting is canceled.
Hamburg Public Library Story Time: The Hamburg Public Library has story time on Wednesday mornings at 10 am for ages 18 months through 3 years old. Open Hitting & Throwing Weekends: Will be conducted by the Berkshire Baseball Club and Body Zone Sports & Wellness Center for players of all ages. These sessions offer no instruction. You can simply come in and hit or pitch with a friend or on your own and at your leisure on any Saturday or Sunday throughout February. We’ll supply the cgaes, mounds and baseballs; you just need to show up and hit and throw until your heart’s content. All Saturdays will be open from 1-4 p.m.; Sundays from 3-6 p.m.
The 2013 Berks County Dairy Princess Pageant will be held Saturday, April 27 at the Mohrsville Church of the Brethren, 1542 Shoey Road, Mohrsville, where the 2013-14 Berks County Dairy Princess and Li’l Miss Dairy Princess will be crowned. EGGstravaganza. noon to 3 p.m. at the Berks County Heritage Center, in Bern Township. Children can dye and decorate eggs. Take photos with the Easter Bunny and get a treat. Children will enjoy the “Hatchlings & Sprouts” activities outdoors by the Herb Garden. Children learn about eggs and explore the diverse life held inside. Hands-on seed planting activity, and the science ‘Egg’-periments. Reading Jugglers Club will entertain and offer instruction. EGGstravaganza is not an egg hunt—only egg dying.
