A man was shot at a Greenwich Township home on Monday night.

State Police for Reading and Hamburg responded to a call of a shooting on Douglass Road at 10:49 p.m. on March 25.

Trooper Kluge of State Police Hamburg reported that the homeowner’s daughter’s ex-boyfriend arrived at the home with two other people, repeatedly banging on the front door. The homeowner thought that someone was going to break down the front door, so he grabbed a gun and shot through the wall of the house, according to the report.

A bullet struck one of the men standing outside the home. The man, who was not identified, was transported via ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, according to the report.

The investigation continues. Names were not provided.
