Fleetwood Police March 31: Fleetwood Police investigated a Hit and Run accident on Route 222 in Richmond Township at 5:29 p.m. A vehicle driven by Andrew T. Michaels, 40, of Wurtsboro, N.Y., struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Richard J. Studer, 51, of Graytown, Ohio. Michaels fled the scene and was stopped a short distance away and arrested for a Hit and Run and several other traffic offences. There were no injuries to anyone in either vehicle.
Between March 25 and March 31, Fleetwood Policeresponded to 50 totalincidents.

State Police March 13: at 7:47 p.m. police arrived at an address in Longswamp to carry out an arrest warrant. While attempting to fulfill the warrant, Richard Meir, 76, of Macungie, attempted to stop police from making the arrest by grabbing and pushing the troopers. When told he was under arrest, Meir resisted the troopers as he was being handcuffed. Charges were filed against Mier for Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct.
March 26: At 3 p.m. Police responded to an incident of an unknown driver travelling north on Willow Road in Ruscombmanor. The Unknown driver travelled off of the right shoulder and struck a mailbox post and Met-Ed utility pole’s support cable. After striking the cable, the driver fled the scene. March 22: At 11:15 p.m. Ralph Lee Roberson, 22 of Harrisburg, who was court ordered to the Wernersville Community Correction Center, left the facility without authorization. Roberson pulled a fire alarm system to create a diversion and then fled the facility. Roberson pulled the pull system with such force that he caused $300 in damage. Roberson fled the facility on foot and in an unknown direction. Roberson has been charged with Escape and Criminal Mischief at District Court 23-1-01. March 29: Pennsylvania State Police from the Hamburg station responded to an accident in Maxatawny on Noble Street at 2:05 a.m. The crash occurred as Samantha Rodden, 18, of Boyertown, travelled south on Noble Street. Rodden then lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle began to rotate in a clockwise direction. Rodden travelled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole with the left side of the vehicle. This caused Rodden’s car to rotate counterclockwise and come to a final rest. Rodden was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
There were three passengers in the car at the time of the incident. Faith Steigerwald, 19, of Boyertown, and Patrick Cescon, 19, of Sinking Springs, were not injured but taken to the hospital. Jordan Kirkpatrick, 19, of Schuylkill Haven was transported by Kutztown Ambulance for major injuries. Everyone in the car was taken to either Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest and St. Joseph’s Medical Center. The police report does not specify who went to which hospital.
In a related incident Steigerwald and Cescon are accused of underage drinking.
