The Baby and Toddler Family Expo is no longer a kid anymore, and will be moving to a new location this year. The 18th annual Baby and Toddler Family Expo will be held at the SMG Sportsplex at Warminster, from Friday, April 12, to Sunday, April 14.
There will be plenty of entertainment and exhibitors for families, and admission is free this year.
At the expo, exhibitors will be promoting their products and will have information about their services on display. Most exhibitors have products geared toward babies and toddlers and some for parents.
Throughout the weekend, there will be several exhibits, attractions and entertainment on display for the entire family. Entertainment includes a show from Radio Disney; a live animal demonstration from the Philadelphia Zoo’s ‘Zoo on Wheels’; Mr. David C. Perry, who brings a show full of art, music, puppets and laughs; Gobo the Clown, maker of balloon animals; Main Line Models and more.
Kids can also enjoy face painting and a play park that will be open throughout the weekend.
There will be appearances by Ronald McDonald, the Chick-Fil-A Cow and a minion from ‘Despicable Me.’
There will be prize giveaways as well: tickets to a screening of ‘Despicable Me,’ Philadelphia Zoo tickets and a four pack of tickets to the Franklin Institute, a DVD copy of ‘Rise of the Guardians,’ Target gift cards and more.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand will also be in attendance. Donations will be collected at the expo for the foundation, which fights against childhood cancer. More information can be found at http://www.alexslemonade.org/mypage/93059.
Kicking off the expo and new this year is Mom’s Night Out, which will be held on Friday, April 12, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Moms can come out the night before the big crowds expected on Saturday and Sunday to enjoy wine tasting, massages, facials and more, along with music by School of Rock. One lucky mom will win a private birthday party at Bounce U in Horsham.
