Come one, come all, to watch and hear the Dogs of Falkner Swamp play at The State Theater in Boyertown, on April 12.
The Dogs of Falkner Swamp consists of three men who sing and play acoustic guitar. The Dogs include: Glenn Moser, Bob Erb and Bob Schnaars. Moser sings, Erb sings as well, and Schnaars plays acoustic guitar while finishing off a three part harmony.
The trio mainly sings gospel songsas well as a few golden oldies. Moser writes the majority of their original gospel music that they play in addition to their typical church music.
On April 12, the Dogs’ will be hosting a fundraiser at The State Theater for their church, Falkner Swamp UCC’s Heater Fund! The event will be held at 7 p.m. It costs $10 to buy tickets for the performance ahead of time, and $15 if purchased at the door.
The Dogs have delighted the community with their musical talent around the area for several years and have taken the stage at countless picnics, meetings, churches and other special events.
For example, the Dogs have twice sung the National Anthem at the Phillies game. If you would like to hear them sing, check them out on YouTube or visit their website entitled, where it is linked under the heading, “hear us sing” at the top of the page. It’s that simple.
This up-coming fundraiser benefit Falkner Swamp UCC’s heater that needs to be replaced. For information regarding upcoming performances by The Dogs of Falkner Swamp, visit their church’s website at We would love to hear from you; and hope to see you at future shows!
