Studio B, Boyertown is excited to announce their fifth annual showing of its eco-art exhibition. The exhibition, ‘Happy Little Trees’ is a juried show of works inspired by the TREE in all of its creative forms and implications. The exhibition is sponsored by Liberty Environmental Inc., a Reading-based consulting firm in conjunction with Berks County Conservancy and Levengood’s Flowers Inc. Artists will be awarded in cash and prizes. ‘We like to encourage people to think about the environment and what better way to do it than through art,’ said Susan Biebuyck, Gallery Director, ‘and we are pleased to have Adriano contribute his expertise within our community of artists’.
The show opens Friday, April 19, 2013, with a public reception and awards presentation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. ‘Happy Little Trees’ will hang through May 7, 2013. Studio B is located at 39 E. Philadelphia Ave. in Boyertown, PA. Please visit studiobbb.org for more information.
Juror Adriano Farinella earned his BFA in painting and drawing from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 1998. He has also studied plein air painting in Italy and most recently Santa Fe, New Mexico. Adriano has taught figure drawing at the Banana Factory, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and is currently teaching drawing and figure drawing at the Baum School of Art in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He also runs workshops on landscape painting and reductive drawing and painting.
