Tim and Mary Summers of Geigertown are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Simmers, to Derek Tantala, the son of Don and Cindy Tantala, of Downingtown. The date of their wedding is June 1, 2013.
Ms. Simmers received her high school diploma in 2008, and is a 2012 graduate of Delaware County Community College, where she earned her certification as a Pharmacy Med Tech. She is currently employed as a Med Tech with Heatherwood Retirement Community in Honey Brook.
Mr. Tantala is a 2007 graduate of Downingtown West High School, and a 2009 graduate of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. He is currently working as a customer cabinet maker with Tantala’s Cabinet Shop in Downingtown.
