We don’t face cancer alone and neither should you. We come together every year at the Relay For Life of Daniel Boone and celebrate those individuals who are winning the fight. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest support group for survivors and their caregivers.
A cancer survivor is defined by the American Cancer Society as anyone who is living with cancer, from the date of diagnosis. If you have ever heard the words, “You have cancer,” we invite you to participate as a survivor.
Whether you’re a survivor or caregiver, getting involved in the Relay For Life of Daniel Boone can introduce you to others who are facing the same challenges, and provide opportunities for learning, sharing, and friendship.
If you are a survivor, we invite you to go to our website at www.RelayForLife.org/paDanielBoone and register today! The Survivor Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 18th at the Daniel Boone High School Stadium. The ceremony will be followed by a dinner for all survivors and their caregivers. If you have any questions, please contact Patrick Flynn, Survivor Chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org or Tracy Driehaus, Event Chair, at email@example.com or 610-582-6100. Survivors is why we Relay!
