Veterans Career Fair in Coatesville is May 24

Coatesville, Pa. – The Coatesville Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, in partnership with Pennsylvania CareerLink, a state-run agency that provides resources to people who are seeking employment, will hold its 4th Annual Veterans Career Fair at the medical center on May 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

‘Today’s job market is as competitive as ever. Job seekers are looking to set themselves apart, and top employers are looking for the best and the brightest out there,’ said Gary W. Devansky, medical center director, ‘At the fair, Delaware Valley Veterans can meet with employers that want to hire Veterans, and employers can meet with Veterans, who are known to be hard-working and reliable.’

Located at 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, Pa., the fair will feature numerous area employers, including Amtrak, UPS, West Pharmaceuticals and Allied Barton. Representatives from these organizations and others will be on hand to meet Veterans and, in some cases, conduct on-the-spot interviews. Career seminars will also be held during the fair .

Additionally, the medical center’s Eligibility and Enrollment staff will be available to answer questions about eligibility for VA health care and start the enrollment process for Veterans who are interested.
