The Bridge Church Sunday Morning Worship Service times are at 9 a.m. & 11 a.m. All of our Bridge Street Kid’s Ministries meet downstairs where you will be able to check-in your child before each service begins. Bridge Street Kid’s Ministries range in ages from 0 thru 4th Grade.
Our Wednesday Evening Family Night Classes begin at 7 p.m. Please join us weekly as we offer something for every age group, from infant to Adults. Early Childhood care is provided, while School age children are involved with Girls Ministries & Royal Rangers. Fifth & sixth graders have the opportunity to participate in our “56” club, as they venture through their pre-teen years together while teenagers find their place in Momentum Youth Live (main youth service). Adults have multiple Connect Classes to choose from each week. Our Spring Classes have begun and we are offering these three classes: The Holy Spirit, Significant Woman of the Bible (Ladies Bible Study), and Courageous Men’s Bible Study.
Divorce Care will be 13 weeks long, meeting on Tuesday’s at 7 p.m. This class is on campus at The Bridge Church. There is a cost. This group is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through lone of life’s most difficult experiences. Divorce Care support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help you. This class is an open ended class, and you are able to jump at any time during the 13 weeks.
Ladies Chocolate and Chuckles Event
Friday, May 10, 6:30 p.m. at TBC. Ladies, join us for a fun-filled night with an explosion of chocolate & chuckles. Special Guest Speaker & Comedian, Sue Duffield will be delighting us with a humor filled night. There will be chocolate fountains, fruit, finger sandwiches and door prizes! There is a cost. This event is for ladies 18 years and older. Salem Belleman’s Church
On Sunday, April 21, Salem Belleman’s Church, 3540 Belleman’s Church Road, Mohrsville, celebrated the Fourth Sunday of Easter at the regular worship times of 7:45 and 10:15 a.m. The musician for the early service was Michele Dietrich while Linda Hartman, The Director of Music Ministry, played for the second service. During the 10:15 service Pastor Potteiger baptized Samantha Rose Gregor, daughter of Todd and Kelly Gregor.
Belleman’s will be hosting its annual Oyster Supper at the church’s Fellowship Hall on Saturday, April 27 from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The menu includes Fried Oysters, Oyster Stew, Oyster Pies, and Ham Platters. All items are sold ala carte. The worship assistants were Bree-Anna Boyer, Gladys Oswald, Raymond Kissling, Bill Boyd, Roy Bubbenmoyer, Paul Zerbe, and the Youth Group. The altar flowers were presented by Wayne and Cara Kramer in honor of their wedding anniversary. The Green Thumb Committee’s work date is April 27 at 9 a.m.

On April 14 Tenth Anniversary of the New Addition were observed and the altar flowers were presented in honor of the 88th birthday if Helen Mack by Gene and Lynette, Donald and Melanie, and Jan and Lori. On April 21 Compassion Sunday was observed. The altar flowers were presented in honor of the beauty of God’s daffodils blooming in “The Meadows” from the Ruth Troutman family. The fresh arrangement is presented, with love, in honor of the birthday of Louise Wolf by Fritz, Carla, Makayla, and Emily. Pastor Joel Jackson will present the Guild program on April 30. Music Appreciation Sunday will be observed on May 5. There will be a covered dish dinner at 5 p.m. followed by a piano concert by Jim Hendricks at 6 p.m. on May 5.

The Mission Trip Team is traveling to Smithsburg, Maryland this summer in June. The Mission Team is selling the miles from Shoemakersville to Smithsburg. You will not only be helping the team get to Smithsburg and back, you will be helping the families in Smithsburg also.

Sunday, April 28, Music Sunday is celebrated with members of St. Michael’s singing and playing instruments to praise The Living God. The St. Michaelaire’s band, led by Elaine Balthaser, will lead our hymns. Children’s songs from the Sunday School, led by Betty Naftzinger, will be enjoyed before the children’s sermon. The Senior Choir under the direction of Deborah Buzzard will perform an anthem. Several presentations of special music will be part of the worship service.
