Boyertown Idol is BACK! Watch WTIM for tryout dates and times. Friends STORM, 3 – D, Backflash, Middle Class Madness and Listen Live Music all have gigs looming large this time. Congrats to Chestnut Grove on your upcoming CD release! Boyertown’s State Theater seems to be the place be this time not only citing what I have already mentioned, there’s more! I haven’t even mentioned the fact that they are hosting a BATTLE OF THE BANDS! Four awesome local bands will be duking it out on the State’s stage. Good luck to all. Checking back on the big stages Boz Scaggs is back in the area for two shows and Straight No Chaser for three. Straight from the set of “the Following” you can see Kevin Bacon in his other gig at the Keswick. I like the Doo Wop show as pick of the week, because I am a big fan of the harmonies and the music. Locally, sticking with the retro theme, how about Jeff Krick doing Elvis at Saint Gabe’s? Being from Stowe I know how much fun this venue can be, add a little of the King and you got a slam dunk! See you out and about.
Do you want to see your band or venue listed here at WTIM send and email to tdietterick@journalregister.com with the particulars (at least 2 weeks in advance ) and we’ll get it out there.
