Erica Lutz, an eighth grader at Hamburg Middle School, shot her first turkey at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday April 20 during the youth turkey season. She was hunting with her dad and uncle at her grandfather’s camp in Lycoming County. The turkey was 16 pounds with 3 beards measuring 10 inches, 6 inches and 3 inches.
