Harrisburg – Governor Tom Corbett today signed into law the following bill:
House Bill 2 (P.N. 537) – Amends the Public School Code, establishing a Special Education Funding Commission and providing for special education funding for student achievement and instruction of eligible students, special education funding for eligible students with disabilities and special education accountability.
The governor signed the bill today in the presence of Sen. Pat Browne (R-Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton) and Rep. Bernie O’Neill (R-Bucks), sponsors of the legislation.
