Ten-year-old Kutztown gymnast Logan Yerger helped Team PA gymnasts win first place at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Invitational.
A member of the Parkettes National Training Center gymnastics team based in Allentown, the Kutztown Elementary student competed on April 26 at the Region 7, Mid-Atlantic Regionals in Marlboro, N.J.
The Level 6 Boys Team from Pennsylvania competed against teams from New Jersey, West Virginia, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland and New York. Based on the teams all around scored, Team PA earned 1st Place. In the process Logan helped the team by earning a 4th place on the Vault. This is the second year that Logan has been selected to represent Team PA as a State Team Member.
Logan has been a gymnast for three years and is currently competing as a Level 6 gymnast.
