Hamburg's 3,200 meter relay team breaks 27 year old school record

The Hamburg High School girlsí track team had no trouble defeating Kutztown on April 30, 106-44. The win improved the teamís record to 4-2 in the Berks League and 7-2 overall, but that isnít the big news from the meet.

The big news is that Hamburgís 3,200 meter relay team of Alicia Pursell, Tori Dietrich, April Stafford and Karlie Heistand set a new school record when they turned in a time of 9:57.6. The previous record stood for 27 years.
