Lighthouse Christian Academy and Bible InstituteL.C.C. is a full gospel church that provides a contemporary church service at 10 a.m. Sunday mornings; we have an intercessory prayer meeting at 6 p.m., on Sundays. Wednesday at 7 p.m. is our mid-week Bible study, everyone is welcome.

The academy is a full service school from kindergarten to 12th grade. We are currently accepting applications for the 2008-09 school terms. For details, visit www.lmchurchacademy.org.

April 12, is movie night at 7 p.m. This month’s feature is “unidentified” followed by ice cream sundaes.

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ

A Homemade Chicken Pot Pie Supper will be held on April 5, from 3:30 to 7 p.m. All you can eat, family-style, dessert and beverage included. Tickets at the door. Homemade by the Kitchen Committee. The church is located at 5 West Arch St., Fleetwood. 610-944-0406.

Hope Lutheran Church

A Ham Dinner Benefit will be held on April 19, from 4 to 7 p.m., children under 4 eat free. For more information call 610-682-7236.

Trinity Lutheran Church

On April 13, a Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., on the occasion of Dr. Alfred L. Shoemaker’s 95th birthday anniversary at Trinity Lutheran Church by the American Folklife Institute. The church is located opposite the Historic Town Crier’s House on 360 West Main Street, Kutztown. A historic brass plaque has been placed marking this landmark building. Dr. Don Yoder, will be one of the speakers at this event.

Salem Evangelical Congregational Church During our worship service this week we recognized Audrey Renno as our Lay Minister of the week. The greeters for the Traditional Service were Cori and Amy Mengel and the greeters for the Contemporary service were Tim and Lois Peters. The sermon title was “Core Values” and was based on the scripture Mark 12:28-34.

The schedule at Salem Church for the week of April 6th is as follows: Tuesday at 7 p.m., there will be Bible Studies for the Youth and Adults, Friday morning at 9 a.m., there will be an Adult Bible Study, April 19th Salem Church will host the Women’s Ministries “A Day Apart”.
