Daniel Boone boys' volleyball team eliminated in Berks semifinals

The Daniel Boone High School boys’ volleyball team qualfied for the Berks League playoffs, but it turned out to be a fairly short run. After defeating Schuylkill Valley in the quarterfinals, the Blazer run was cut short when the lost to Wilson in the semifinals, 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-20).

Jullian Gerhart, Daniel Downs and Connor Choate contributed for Boone with four kills apiece.

After finishing the regular Berks League season with a record of 9-3, good for third place in Division 1, the Blazers took on Schuylkill Valley in the quarterfinals. Boone won the match, 3-1 (25-13, 23-25, 25-20 and 25-15).

Choate led the way for Boone with 11 kills and seven digs, while Dan Rohlfing had six digs and 37 assists.
