SKIPPACK – Pennsylvania State Police issued a statement that said no new information is available on the missing college student, Matthew Royer, 21.

‘His current location is not known at this time. The investigation is ongoing and we are following up on leads as they come in,’ the release said. ‘When new details emerge, they will be released in future notifications.’

On May 15, Royer left his apartment at the University of Rhode Island around 6:30 p.m. Police said Royer was driving to his house in Skippack.

Royer was last seen on a surveillance video on Route 78 and Route 100 in Breiningsville on May 17, according to police.

His parents have made desperate pleas to their son to return home.

‘Matthew, we love you,’ said Janet Royer outside the Skippack barracks on Monday. ‘We’re here for you. Please call us. We’ll come get you anywhere, anytime.’

Police describe Royer’s car as a silver 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt with Pennsylvania registration GZR9059.
