The American Cancer Society, the nation’s leading voluntary health organization, has selected Roseann and Joe Thomas to serve as honorary chairs for this year’s Relay For Life of Twin Valley on June 14-15 from noon-noon.
Roseann and Joe are the owners of A2A Services Vacs + on Main Street in Morgantown. They are very active in the community and currently Roseann serves as Vice President of Marketing for the Morgantown Area Business Association. They have also been volunteering with the Relay For Life of Twin Valley for many years. Roseann is presently the captain of the MABA team for Relay For Life and both her and Joe have served on the planning committee in the past.
Roseann and Joe are also both cancer survivors in addition to having a daughter who is currently battling cancer and another daughter who unfortunately lost her fight last year. Their experience perfectly embodies the motto of Relay For Life to Celebrate those who are survivors, Remember loved ones lost and Fight Back against the many forms of cancer. Relay For Life of Twin Valley is proud to have them as our honorary chairs for this year’s event.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life brings together teams from local businesses, schools, churches and families for food, fun, music, entertainment and a night under the stars – while team members take turns walking or running on a track. All monies raised from the Relay For Life of Twin Valley will go to cancer research, education, advocacy and service.
