Again, the Brandywine Community Library opened the Topton Community Day events with a 5K and fun run.
The 3rd Annual 5k Race Fun Run supporting the Brandywine Community Library took place on May 18 at the Brandywine Heights High School. For the third year in a row, we had an awesome morning with ideal conditions for a great run. Obviously, with ideal conditions and a good cause turn out for the race. The 5k course proved to be fast for the top male finisher: Dean Moyer with a time of 19:06. And, top female finisher, Kassi Yocco, a BHASD sophomore, with a time of 21:06. Medals were awarded to the first and second male and female place finishers in the following age categories.
